Meijer Deals

I decide this is the last Saturday I am going shopping until after Christmas the stores were crazy. It could also be the fact I have a part time retail job and the last place I want to be on a Saturday is a packed retail store. My stops were very profitable and I enjoyed watching my bill go down. At Meijers I saved $50.34 by using coupons with the sale prices. I did get several items for free. The best deal was Sara Lee pies are 2 for $5. I was able to get French Silk pies for $1.50 after using my $1 off printable coupons I told you about in a previous post. I also still had some of the $1 off Sara Lee Cheesecakes coupons from a Sunday insert from awhile ago. I was able to get cheesecake for $1.49 each. I also had $1 off Mrs. Edwards single serving slices of pie so I got them for $.33 each. My freezer is now stocked with desserts and with the holidays fast approaching I am prepared. I also picked Select Harvest Soups for $.29 a can after my $1 off coupons. I used my free egg coupon that I got last week and got a dozen eggs for free. I bought much more but those are highlights of my trip.
